When politicians lie, corporate leaders cheat, and marriages fail, as happens too often today, it’s easy to wonder if there’s anyone who can be trusted.

But one of God’s names is “Faithful and True”: “I saw heaven standing open. There was a white horse, and its rider is named Faithful and True. With integrity he judges and wages war.” (Revelation 19:11)

Many of the signs around us indicate we may be nearing the last days described here by John in the Book of Revelation. But regardless of whether Jesus returns in our lifetime or delays so that more people have the opportunity to trust Him, we can be sure of His faithfulness. The answer is yes, there is someone who can always be trusted. His name is Jesus, and His Word is Truth. No matter how others may hurt you or deceive you, rest in His faithfulness today.
