This is the second book I have read by Marie Wells Coutu. It was just as wonderful as the first! The author makes you feel as if you are the main character, Victoria. She takes you through a variety of emotions and introduces you to Victoria’s new friends and the difficult decisions she must make. This is a must read for anyone. I look forward to the next book in the “Mended Vessels Series” by this author.

Just as with the first book in this series, the story captivates you to read "just one more chapter" before putting the book down! Love that it is a Christian novel based on a Biblical character, but not 'preachy'. Having previously visited Charleston, it was a bonus for me to have a visual image of the settings and places that were described. And, as other reviewers have mentioned, it is easy to relate to many of the characters. Eagerly anticipating her next book!
